Hilda Del Castillo is a first‑generation American, born and raised in Southern California. From an early age, she showed a strong work ethic and drive to learn across various fields.


Her professional journey is marked by a diversity of roles — she has worked in banking, served as a medical lab assistant, operated as a Notary Public, and increasingly immersed herself in the real estate industry through sales, property management (both residential and commercial), and investing.


This broad foundation helped her to develop a deep understanding of finance, operations, legal documentation, customer service, and investment dynamics — all of which inform her approach as a real estate leader.

After more than a decade in real estate, Hilda fulfilled her long-held ambition of founding her own brokerage. She is the Broker & CEO of GEN23 Real Estate, headquartered in Canyon Lake, California.


Under her leadership, GEN23 offers a broad spectrum of services:

  • Residential and commercial sales & leasing
  • Property management
  • Tenant representation


Hilda is licensed as a California real estate broker (Lic. # 01836993). She also speaks both English and Spanish, enabling her to serve diverse client communities.


Her specialty areas include landlord and tenant representation (residential and commercial), along with a focus on industrial, office, and retail property types. She works across the Inland Empire, Orange County, and San Diego regions.


Among her achievements, she has earned recognition such as “Broker/Owner of the Year,” and is affiliated with the National Association of Realtors (NAR).


One distinctive aspect of her company is the meaning behind the name GEN23:


“When everything shook in 2020, I looked to Scripture, specifically Genesis. I discovered that the first real estate transaction recorded was in Genesis chapter 23 (Abraham buying land). Genesis signifies the beginning, and 2023 represents the year to move forward — hence, GEN23 Real Estate.”

Skilled in handling maintenance-related issues, Theresa excels in fostering positive relationships with both landlords and tenants, ensuring smooth operations. Her dedication to tenant retention and leasing has been instrumental in maintaining high occupancy rates in the apartment complexes she's managed, with a diverse background in various aspects of property management, including conflict resolution, vendor management, contracts, maintenance and leasing.


Passionate about real estate from the start Theresa is now embarking on an exciting new journey in the field, ready to bring her wealth of knowledge and skills to new opportunities and challenges.
